I realize some of these lyrics are taken out of context but they express well how I am feeling.

Oh, and twisted thoughts that spin
Round my head
I'm spinning
Oh, I'm spinning
How quick the sun can, drop away
- Black, Pearl Jam

Father snores as his wife gets into the dressing gown
Picks up the leter that's lying there
Standing alone at the top of the stairs
She breaks down and cries to her husband
Daddy, our baby's gone
Why would she treat us so thoughtlessly
How could she do this to me

She (We never thought of ourselves)
Is leaving (Never a thought for ourselves)
Home (We gave her everything money could buy)
She's leaving home after living alone for so many years. Bye, bye

-She's Leaving Home, Beatles

Well she went up to her room where she sang her faithful tune
Well I'm goin where those chilly winds don`t blow

-Rain and Snow, Grateful Dead

Pink Floyd
"Goodbye Cruel World"

Goodbye cruel world
I'm leaving you today
Goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye
Goodbye all you people
There's nothing you can say
To make me change
My mind
Goodbye.

I understand.

My current song to counteract my own intrusive thoughts is - Fun - Carry On

Though I've never been through hell like that
I've closed enough windows to know you can never look back

If you're lost and alone
Or you're sinking like a stone.
Carry on.
May your past be the sound
Of your feet upon the ground.
Carry on.

Carry on, carry on

Cause here we are
We are shining stars
We are invincible
We are who we are
On our darkest day
When we’re miles away
Sun will come
We will find our way home

Len - Crazy 'Cause I Believe

Ya know what?
Sometimes you just get so damn tired
And things really ain't that cool
But it's normal, man

You can't let it slow up your pattern
Some days the pressure can really be on you
And you might not know what to do about it
You might get a little claustrophobic

Problems closin' in on ya
But you just gotta relax, man
Plan your attack, man
I mean, we all got struggles, you can't win 'em all
'Cause life's hard as granite for some of us

But you just gotta let it ride, man and ride with it
'Cause some things only happen if you let it
If you lose your head too fast, you might live to regret it

So listen, man, listen, when you feel so way out
And you feel like there's no way out
You just gotta open your eyes, man and rise

Sometimes you need to just give thanks when you're walkin' slanted
Ya can't take your blessings for granted
So keep a good focus, stay cool, stay true
And just let the sun shine right on through
