After a couple of months being depressed and not able to figure out what my problem was until I finally made a call to see a Therapist at our local Hospital. After second visit his associate diagnosed me as being bipolar and gave me 2 medications to help. With this news I felt as though I had a deadly cancer but then felt relieved to know what was problem. I know very little, if anything about bipolar. 1st real therapy session will be next week and I have a list of questions and started reading everything I can on the Internet. Joined this website to start understand what I am. What to do and try and get a handle on this situation. Feeling every emotion to man right now!!!

I understand. But just remember, you were bipolar before the diagnosis. Nothing has changed. You are still you. Take care.
