Is it possible to go up( mania) then just return normal without going into depression? I feel like for me that's not possible. Experiences?

So far for me... What goes up, must come down. I wish that was not the case. I'm not real sure what completely level "normal" even feels like...

I have only managed to safely come down from hypomania once, and I think it's because the Abilify I'm on really works for my depression. Last summer I was hypomanic for about a week, but I cracked down and stuck to a schedule and took meds to sleep and just kept really organized. It was fun, and I was sad when it was over, but I didn't crash.

My last hypo was my longest, lasted nearly two months... No crash.

First time for me.

I've heard some people fly up, descend softly into stable and then fall into depression, that's not my personal normal though.
