When I intentionally do things that I know are going to upset me its usually because I feel the need to "punish myself" for something, some nonsense that my mind has decided that I deserve and in reality makes no damn sense..

Maybe take a look and see if that could be the case. It is a common trait that Bp peeps tend to struggle with.

Im sorry that your having to deal with this kind of stuff

I'm right there with you. I 've been super anxious today, I forgot to pay the water bill and they turned it off They said they couldn't turn it on until today! My husband is furious with me. So, I can't sleep and have eaten over a dozen cookies. I thought about inducing vomit.....but my toilet won't flush!

My personal opinion on this is open to being debated.

Honestly.

I think that you are self harming.

And there are a number of reasons for this.

I had a quick look through Eating Disorder Hope Website and it listed ED as a Common Self-Harming Behaviour and I have to say I agree with this.

Here is the Website I am currently referencing:

Common Self-Harming Behaviors | Eating Disorder Hope

PsychCentral has some interesting forums devoted to this if you wish to investigate this behaviour any further:

Self Injury - Forums at Psych Central

Hooligan, what excellent advice! that is a very good perspectiv and really worth looking into. Thanks for the links. I think I will find some of it useful, because some of the things I do (to myself) are pretty negative, even though it isn`t cutting or anything like that.
