I have things that I try but I would love to get suggestions.

I take my klonopin if I feel that it is some agitated ruminating buzziness that is triggering.

I do some CBT stuff on my own if I feel like it is some situation or issue triggering or exacerbating it.

I'm not in the mood to think of or write anymore right now. HA

Oh I know something I do

I try to search around in my brain for something that makes me feel a glimmer of happiness or something like that. Like right now I feel all Blah if you haven't gotten that from the 45 threads I just started.

Like right now I feel like roasting a chicken. That makes me feel all kinda cozy and domestic and excited.

I am vegan though so it is kinda off from normal.

I try to distract myself by trying to watch a movie or drawing a picture, but it doesn't always work, especially if I'm in too deep.

Sometimes I listen to music, but it has to be the right kind.

Agreed. Sometimes there is that sweet spot where somehow you can get away from it a bit with some distraction but once the wave goes over my head nothing really works.

Except painting. But that is like scratching an itch that never goes away. There is release while it is happening but once it is done it is just the same.
