I was just looking through my bills and arranging payments today. I noticed during my manic episode last month I spent a bunch of money on credit again. I spent my entire last paycheck plus close to $1200 on credit because I wanted to rewire the lighting in my house, the HVAC system, upgrade the PC, and more.

This is why I hate money because I spend it when I'm manic like I have a suitcase of it under the bed. Meh I guess it is time to start paying back down theses debits... :/

I go through spending sprees when I'm manic too, it's hard to have self control

My husband manages the money, But I haven't actually wanted to spend money even when manic in a long time, odd

Only advice I can offer is every week or bi weekly load play money on pre paid credit cards when the money is gone you have no choice but to stop spending.

Do you have someone you can give your credit cards to so you don't have them in your wallet ? Often having to "ask" for the card is something that could save you a load of money.

I'm right there with you. My husband had to become my safeguard because I was getting out of control.

That is a good idea giving my cards to somebody else to hold on to for me. The biggest place I spend is normally Amazon. Chase Bank gave me an Amazon Visa Card which I have maxed out right now. Then I have a U.S. Bank card which is half way maxed however I don't have easy access to this account so I don't spend very much on it. I also have a JCPenny and Lowes card.

I am going to try giving my cards over to someone and removing my saved information from Amazon.
Thanks for this!
