Hi I'm new here, and where I come from (singapore) think there are absolutely no support groups watsoever and its such a stigma most ppl hear have hardly hear about bipolar.

Now I feel i'm going thru phsycomotor retardation/agitation.I cant seem to think and my memory n concentration is failing me. Has anyone gone thru this? What meds help? I'm currently only on amitryplene and its not doing anything.

WElcome.
ARe you seeing a psychiatrist and are you diagnosed with bipolar?
Could you also see a therapist to help you cope with all of this?
There are meds that can help you but you need to see a psychiatrist who can prescrib them for you.
I am sorry that you are having a rough time...

Mood stabilizers is the typical med(s) use for treating Bipolar, other types may be used in adjunct.
What you stated that you are taking is an anti-depressant I believe.
