I attended my first support group meeting yesterday. It was incredible to meet so many different people have similar problems to me, all coming together to help each other. It made me feel much better about some of my more erratic behaviour, that it's not unique and that it's not impossible to deal with neither for me nor my loved ones. Positive step!

That's awesome! I used to belong to a local bipolar support group and was a facilitator for a few years, too. Made some good friends and met lots of people that could "relate."
Thanks for this!

That sounds great! I really hope it goes that way. The people were really welcoming and open. There was no judgement about other peoples' life choices, difficulties or treatments. They seem really helpful, even the ones in a much tougher spot than me were coming to talk to me. I'm really hopeful I can make progress there.
