So I decided that Next Friday I'm going IP. I'd go tomorrow but we go to Disney next week. So as soon as I get home. I shouldn't have to be depressed for this long. I'm going to see if they'll let me raise the abilify (shot form), raise the antidepressant and drop the lamictal. I'm willing to wait there to see if I go mixed or manic. I doubt they will admit me but it's worth a shot right? Any thoughts would be aprisiated.

Well, here is the thing.. You need to just STOP figuring out what medication and what doses to go with.. Let the Pdocs decide for once, Because all your ideas haven't worked, let the Doctors be Doctors and do what they feel is in your best interest.

You know I am huge about people being there own best advocate, but for now its not healthy for you to make any decisions about finding stability.

It's very scarey to go IP ... but.. Your life isn't working and your talking or you were about a check out date.. that is so not cool.. Let the Doctors and therapist help you, Just stop fighting and follow a treatment plan..

I will be thinking of you! I agree let the docs do their work. I can tell you that Lamictal and Abilify are different classes of meds...but don't worry about that stuff. Take care of you in IP via letting them do their job. xox

I hope you have a great trip and that they work out a med combo that actually helps you. Maybe if they can monitor you a few weeks to give the meds a chance to work, it will be easier for you to stay on them after you discharge.

I pushed out Disney until I'm healthy. Just have to make it through until my sister leaves tomorrow.

My husband asked me to go IP. So we called and was able to push out our vacation we can go up until the 5th of June. So I go IP tomorrow, if they have beds. After my family leaves back to VA. I'm going to call T from the ER. He wanted me IP on Wednesday.

I'm doing laundry and packing tonight. I have to voluntarily go in voluntarily "look"/"act" the part. I'm not scared of "it" I'm revealed. So I'm laughing and joking about that and everything else. I don't see the seriousness of the situation. It's my choice and I should enjoy the time.

I saw pdoc as a last ditch effort to stay out of IP. Instead I was told if I wasn't there by 5 pm he will involuntary commit me.

What are you going to do? I thought you wanted to go?
