Non bipolar related topic, BUT we can all use distractions from our illness sometimes. It makes me feel good. I love books. Books are my friends. Books are nice.
Anyway, my favorite is Perfect Circle by Sean Stewart. I've read it at least five times.

I also like everything by Charles de Lint (well, almost anyway).

What's your favorite book?

This is a very hard question for me to answer as I love so many...

My favorite newer read was Fat Girl Walking by Brittany Gibbons.

Harry Potter or any book my Mercedes lackey are my long time loves

I'm not going to lie. When I'm feeling down, sad or lonely, I reach for Twilight.

Neuromancer. Now more than ever.

What is your favorite book?

Yes! Also... anything and everything by Supervert! I read Perversity Think Tank and Necrophelia Variations in a comp lit class on perversion. Both made me feel very stupid, and I've had to read them multiple times. I still love them.

I know these are children's books but the Little House books and Anne of Green Gables. The reason is that they are very familiar and so I can read them when I am not well and still know what is going on without having to back-track or give up on what I'm trying to follow. I've worn out an entire set of Little House books in 3 years.
