I just read BeyondtheRainbow's post about having the urge to run while manic. I have done this. I ran up and down my street, ran in the middle of the street where I tripped and split my chin open.

Is this a common thing?: Running or having the desire to run?

HAHA! One time I ran as quickly as I could, singing praise music at the top of my lungs, believing I could save some souls (at like 5 AM). I'm pretty sure I recruited some believers.

Yes; I do this.

I've not been able to run for years because of a screwed up ankle but I have paced and paced and paced. My old town was tiny and very safe and I could walk around it for hours. Running would be great. I used to be a runner and I think I still remember the runner's high. In theory I can try running now but I'm really a few months from my ankle being strong enough that I trust it.

I've got to check out the high school track. My town isn't safe after the time it gets dark but I might be able to get there in in part of the evening when it cools off some.

I'm about to start pacing the driveway. That should be a great way to concern the neighbors.....a flashlight going up and down our driveway (can't walk in the dark because of the stupid ankle on gravel that I can't see).

Run, run, RUN!!!!!!
