First of all, I want to say sorry I've had few responses on all of your threads in the last couple of weeks. I've been trying to read but I am so exhausted and have been sleeping up to 16 hours a night/day. It seems like I'm never on my PC these days. I love all of you!
But, get this, after all of the bustle about my pdoc, I found a major controversy. Not with him, certainly, but with his office. I was online looking for their website (that once existed) because I was seeking an office email to share the following email prior to my appointment: I am VERY concerned about my medication. I talked to both pharmacists at my pharmacy and they were both concerned about me taking 800 MG of Lamictal and that has me wondering about it. Is it the right decision? Isn't Lithium the best anti-manic I am taking? I feel like I am on way too many medications and nothing is working. Or, if one is working, how will I know which? I want to start again with my medication. I can't stand any of this anymore. I am both apathetic and detached from my beautiful life. I feel indignant and often enraged about my mental health. I don't function and I'm sleeping most of the day. I am a stay at home mom with a filthy house and kids who dictate their behavior.
Possible trigger:
Instead of finding an email address, however, I came across this article (which I edited so the whole world wouldn't know the exact location of my office ![]() Ky. (WDRB) -- Police say a man has been arrested after he sexually abused an unconscious patient who was receiving treatment in an east office. According to an arrest report, the incident happened on Aug. 21 at 12:45 p.m. Police say the victim was undergoing medical treatment at an office. While the victim -- a male patient -- was unconscious, police say 49-year-old sexually groped the patient and committed a sex act. The victim would not have consented to the sexual act, according to the arrest report, but managed to capture the incident via a video recording device. was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with first degree sexual abuse. According to Kentucky's Public Protection Cabinet, he was at one time a certified alcohol and drug counselor, whose license expired in 2005. This happened in 2013 and at the time I was seeing my former pdoc. But before I left, this guy worked there (seeing clients, I think), and when I came back he was the business manager. He still is and I know him and had no idea. He once said he and my pdoc have been good friends for 10 years. So that would explain why he is now the manager. On a separate note, how many of you have your pdoc's email address? Did that sound like an acceptable email if so? I want him to be prepared when I come in next week.

Hello lovely cash
![]() Please don't ever feel the need to apologise for replies / amount of replies on threads. That's what we're all here for - as a team - to support each other. I'm sorry you are still experiencing disturbances in energy levels. I'm glad you're questioning the meds you're on. I say we're sometimes our own best advocate of what works for us in the long term, if we look back and reflect on what has been successful for us in the past - so good call! Whilst I haven't read your possible trigger it sounds like a pretty horendous concern and I'm not suprised in the least that this has caught your attention. Very very strange. I've got my pdoc's office email address. I hope you make sense of this rather weird turn of events that you have found. |

I have my pdoc's email and use it as needed, knowing she won't get every email. That sounds perfectly fine and in fact I sent something similar a few days ago telling her that she needed to be ready that if Latuda isn't available I am going to need to start something else and I wanted her to be forewarned. I also sent a detailed message about what has been happening last week when my thearpist told me to.
That office manager being there is CREEPY. I left a vet once for hiring another vet who was sanctioned for kicking a horse. That is way worse. (I"ll send you a PM about something here in a bit but I think it's completely creepy and disrespectful and ethically questionable). PM coming...

When I first saw my psych I was in crisis, and she gave me her mobile number. Even though I haven't needed it for 3-4yrs I guard it like gold and is in my health contact list.
On that other issue, the first therapist I saw in 1982 got himself in hot water too. He was abusing two special needs patients around 2005...went to trial...and now resides at the 'Grey Bar Hotel'. Sometimes the system works as it should! |
