I have been on it for a few months. At first it didn't work out as well but my dosage was increased and had a good effect on me. In the beginning my eyes kept twitching but that lasted about 3 weeks. Annoying if anything. Their is a member moogirotter who made a good review about it.

Ok...so...

I had to stop taking it because if akathesia BUT I was supposed to take it at bedtime with a snack. I ended up taking it at supper so Id be getting enough calories and prevent nausea. If you get nausea, see if you can take it with dinner.

The worst experience of my life. I went thru akathasia and congentin didn't help. I was on a low dose and it didn't matter at what dose. My pdoc said for some reason my body did not metabolize it right. It messed me up so bad I was on med leave for 2 1/2 months. This happened a year ago and I am still having other side effects from it. I've read it's either a God send or pure hell.

Appropriate metaphors
for highs and lows
are that Effexor sucks
and Latuda blows.
Thanks for this!

I have been on Latuda now for 16 months. After the dosage was nailed down I finally acquired a bit of relief from my symptoms. The highs are less intense and the lows are less deep and more manageable.

I've been on latuda for nine months... Wonder pill for me. 200 bucks a month though.. That's the high five I get for having a freaking job and insurance

It's ridiculous how much medication can cost. And with insurance.

I had slightly different experience.

I started taking it a night before bed with food. 4 hours later I would pop outta bed and think it was time to get up and would start taking coffee....until my wife with come in and ask me what I was doing and I would shake out of my fugue.

Then I started taking it in the morning and I would be dead tired for about 4 hours then *snap* I would be wide awake and on like you wouldn't believe.

Had to stop because the balance was too much.

I had akathisia too, incredibly bad to the point that if I didn't have Klonipin and take a bunch of it I would have went to the er. It was one of the worst feelings of my life. It happened three times and at that point I said **** it not worth this.
