I often find myself thinking of all the weird stuff I have said and done both in AND out of "episodes". Because I definitely have some baseline weirdness. And ya know it can be pretty cringe inducing to relive some of it even the stuff that happened like yesterday. Sigh.

I do it all the time! Just a weird over reaction, too many rambly texts in a row to the same person, an over share, a dumb joke. And when in episode...well look out world.

But you know what? I can't help it! I'm weird. That's what I am. I always have and probably always will do weird ****. People just have to deal and I just have to stop feeling so embarrassed. Now how do I do that exactly....

I'm trying

Anybody else weird and proud?

Funny how people used to just shake their heads at over the top acts I used to do, but decades later when I mention the possible cause of me doing those things was because of being bipolar...they blurt out 'no you're not' as if acting the way I did came without strings attached!

My elders thought I should feel shame about what I did, but that wasn't happening. I was going the other way: the crazier the stunts I pulled, the more I was getting laid. That in its silly surface way, was my being accepted I thought. I was encouraged to misbehave...and misbehave I did.

So I didn't really give a hoot back then because my weirdness was working for me. Now that I'm older my craziness has morphed into fond memories my friends and I relive time and again, and I have -0- concern for those who don't like it...then or now.

I am not really sure how I feel about what you have said, but I guess if your getting "laid" it must have been ok....
