My great-great aunt died last week. Her funeral was today. I didn't cry until I was in the room at her funeral and hearing all the wonderful things about her that I already knew. I cried a lot. I really miss her already.

I am sorry for your loss and pain. I was the same way when my grandparents all passed. It does get better. I saw a story the other day that helped me understand the grief process. It's like having a stone in you pocket all the time. Right now you're not use to it always being there so it hurts. Soon though it's weight gets less and it doesn't hurt as much. Soon you'll know it's there you'll never forget you just learn to live with it. Somedays will be better than others in fact you'll hardly know It's there but sometimes it hits you just right you remember the pain and at those times it's ok to cry and get it out cause it'll soon be bearable again. I've done my best to share this I hope it helps. My last grandparent died 11 years ago and even now hearing your story I'm tearing up cause I remember what you're going through so know there's someone out there that understands and sympathizes with you.

I'm sorry, hon. I know it sucks. Lost my grandmother three weeks ago. Hang in there.
