I just started taking Invega and I'm experiencing sleepiness. My speech is slurred sometimes and I tend to kind of drool when this happens. I could be the only one with this issue. I take Lithium 900, Lamictal 400, Topamax 400 and Risperidone 4 too. It could just very well be my body doesn't like the combination. I do plan on telling my pdoc just wondered if it might were off. I just got my first shot two weeks ago.

I just started taking 3mg pills of invega and haven't noticed any effects at all from it so far...although I did sleep 12 hours last night so that may be from it. It seems like taking it with risperdal too is a lot because as my PNP told me they are very similar drugs.

I was on the pill form, It was weight neutral , a lil bit of nausea the first week or so. But I had trouble with the increase in saliva, Sure it was nice not having the wicked dry mouth most every other psych med causes. I was on it about 6 months. It was very helpful pulling me out of a very ugly episode.
I would take it again if I needed to.

I'm on Invega Sustenna (injection) and have never experienced anything like that, it works really well for me with no side effect. Hopefully your pdoc will be able to figure out what's causing it
