Im having major issues with agitation lately. Not sure whats going on. I know that the hospital i was in recently classified my agitation with a mixed episode but some say it can be a sign your switching to mania. Guess i need to call NP and see what she says. I dont know though.

That's not good. I get agitation with hypo/mania or mixed states. It is hell to endure. Hopefully your NP will have some good strategies to deal with it. I use lots of distraction, music, pacing and if needed Zyprexa to get through it. I hope yours passes quickly.

Agitation is a form of torture. Hang in there, it will pass. Do you have any PRN you can take?

Urgh, agitation is the worst. Usually indicated the onset of a hypomanic episode for me.

What meds are you on?
