Hey guys!

Does anyone have a certain song or songs that make them go manic or songs that they like when they're manic?

I love euphoric dance music like re soundtrack to Queer as Folk.
Or gay club music.

I'm bipolar and hypo manic lately.

I am old so I love '80s arena rock and the "hair" bands. I'll plug the iPod into the speaker system and rock out to Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Queen, Def Leppard and so on.

One that describes my manic times is "Everybody Loves Me" by One Republic.
Lyrically it's a good fit, but otherwise I'd probably lean toward something by Muse.

Ahh, yes, some Tool would do. Never thought of it though, since my answer is always the same.

For my #1 manic song choice: The Cure : Give Me It

To make the point most vividly, I give you:

From way back when they played in Orange (France). Tim Pope video. This is what I would show someone in even trying to begin to explain-a-brain…

Of course, it's just the plain ol' album version (from The Top) that you'll hear me blasting on endless repeat while driving. Last time I did this, I almost hadn't been allowed to drive. I promised to be really really good. Lol.

p.s. If you're even simply looking for a burst of energy, watch it. Better than coffee.

p.p.s. There's part of a line that says "…choking on the fleshy words". I personally sing it as "pressured words", 'cause I mean really….

I was obsessed with Tool lyrics last time I went full-blown manic.

I wonder what would happen if we made a playlist of all of these in this thread?
