Hi all,

I just wanted to post a quick happy note. I recently started taking Lamictal. I'm in my fourth week.

There was an impending breakup that was really tearing me apart emotionally. I was about ready to write a note, send it to her, and then disappear. It was a big trigger for me and I knew it was going to make me explode. It wasn't a healthy relationship to start, but it was still going to hurt.

Well, it happened last night, and I feel surprisingly stable. In fact, I'm very grateful for my medication in this regard. I noticed some amazing things that came out of it, and I'm feeling pretty good.

Anyway, just thought I'd share. I've actually got a date tonight with a girl I just met yesterday that I'm really excited about

Sorry, just lame news, but happy news nonetheless.
Hugs from:

Breaking up can be very difficult and triggering, I'm so glad you made it through and are feeling good.

Good luck on your date!

Hey Brandon, I'm very happy to hear that you were able to handle this so well.

In case those other feelings return while you grieve, I really hope that you put something in place in terms of support, so you have something safe to turn to.

Remember, grieving is a process and you will have up and down days. Make a healthy plan for how you can cope if you have a bad one. Line up people you feel you can talk to etc.

I hope you enjoyed your date :-)
Thanks for this!
