hello
my doc doubled my bipolar meds, because I've been having psychotic thought, i.e., feeling the walls are closing in, friends and world out to get me, I even had a complete freak out that someone e-mailed my significant other and told her all my dirty secrets, and when she was messaging me, I freaked out, it was like she knew everything. I don't think the meds I'm on are helping, I don't know what to do, it's a struggle for me to rationalize my thoughts, I been crazy depro, now today i think I'm hypermanic. anyone who could advise me what to do??? please help

How long has it been since your doctor upped the meds? It may take some more time. Could you call them and tell them what's going on or leave a message?

Think about a week or two, I've been battling with my mind! It's weekend so I'll have to phone and leave a message tomorrow. I only slept about 5 hours last night, hope I'm not going hypermanic

Thank you very much for the kind words,
Yeah I'm taking them exactly as prescribed, it's just scary that's all, being in physical pain or something like that I can handle, but when you second guess your mind all the time... I'm trying so hard to rationalize my thoughts, stay in control, the paranoia isn't fun... I also don't want to bug my p doc too much, and become an annoyance. Lying in bed, trying to keep it together, breathing calmly, got some series going to help take my mind off things. Just checked my diary, it's been 19 days since I saw him and he doubled them. I just don't want to go high again, have too much to lose!

Now I think I'm going hypermanic, second night in a row I've only slept 5 hours, have phoned and left a message for my doctor to contact me.
Anxiety and irritability is quite high, I don't really get feelings of grandier but I am feeling a lot more confident than usual. Any advice if my p Doc doesn't reply to my message?

Well I tried.....
Gp is out of the office, psychologist sent p doc a message, I left p doc a message and no response.... Today I'm probably hypermanic, by Wednesday I'll be picking up prostitutes and towing people behind my car on a skateboard! Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Wonder I I'll get a padded room with a view? And WiFi! Free WiFi!

Please go to your pdoc because it is only going to get worse. Sometimes meds work for awhile and stop. Sometimes dosages need to be tweaked or you have to change meds.

hello all
feeling a lot better already funily enough. managed to get an hold of my p doc Hester, went to seem him, he double some removed others. I can only get into the 3 star on friday (clinic) so kak ing myself I'll do something dumb have me doped up to the max, woke up just now an thought it was morning...... quick unrelated question? what rights do I have to ask for a second opinion? also don't want to hurt feelings of current doc, but I don't think he likes mea
