So here's my question...I was manic sunday and yesterday but took some medications and am out of it. Is this still considered an episode even though it was only a day or two? It's confusing, because I try to keep up with the cycles and don't know how to label this for record purposes and with my therapist, If it wasn;t for the medication I would have gone out of control and definently would have lasted more than a week.
thanks

You probably prevented a more lengthy episode by using your "take-down" medications. Be glad!

The few that I've had never last more than a couple days... but maybe I'm just weird.

You probably avoided a potential disaster. Just tell your T what you just posted here.
