So I was having trouble sleeping the other night and I went to my p.a. the next day. She told me this should help. Then, she said I didnt need it, because the saphris has been making me sleep good. when I picked the perscription up there was 2 bottles of it.
sometimes I get up very early and cant fall back asleep. I also wake up several times a night. So I'm contemplating trying this out tonight. Ive tried melatonin, but that gives me night terrors. I also have ativan if needed, but that doesnt always do the trick.

I hate trying new pills because Im scared shytless of the side effects. ive had some bad reactions to some drugs.

This is actually a anti-depresent, but she said it works for sleep and insomia. ive read the reviews and most gave it a high rating.

Mirtazapine made me very manic and didn't help one bit. It was meant to help me with sleep as well. Because it is an anti-depressant and I am very sensitive it caused mania.

Hopefully it will help you! Good luck!

It isn't known for this but I think FOR ME it acted like a mild mood stabilizer. I think that I got several years that let me finish graduate school out of it. Eventually it wasn't enough but nearly every AD I've taken threw me into mania and that one let me live a relatively normal life for a long time.

I was off it for a long time and then on it again for a while but when I was on it with mood stabilizers I had blood pressure issues on it. It and my MAOI are the only 2 ADs that ever worked without making me manic or requiring ridiculously tight dose control that eventually failed.
