That's odd, the withdrawal symptoms from it are supposed to be rather unpleasant. Could you ask your doctor why he wants you to stop taking it suddenly? Are they starting you on a new med?

Is there a reason he wants you off it right away?

I have seen lots of people here on PC saying that getting off Effexor ( Venlor) can be terrible..

Can you ask your pdoc for a taper schedule?

I had a horrible time coming off Effexor! I kept getting these weird feelings like buzzing electric pulses in my head. I felt miserable and I remember going through hell. I had to quit suddenly because I had pancreatitis from it.

Effexor was horrible to come off of for me. I got the head buzzing thing too, plus headaches and nausea. I quit myself just because I didn't want it anymore (when I was a teen) and it sucked. I would not suggest it. I don't remember how much I was on total. I just started taking it every other day, then every two days until I was off.

Well, checked in, same old b.s., I really don't think he has my interests in hearty my I'm being paranoid. I told him the whole story about wanting to be weeded of, said I took one yesterday, and not today,he said he will lower my dosage, but here I my in my bed with f all. It's like they want you to suffer so they can write down what you go through for their journals..... I'm sick of been treated like a lab rat......well patient x is exhibiting signs of not being overly excited about being in his current circumstances.....
You know, the main reason I've been submitting myself to all this sh*#t is that I met this really cool chick called Kate! She's my everything, the reason I haven't
