I woke up last night 2x to "someone " screaming my name. It was unnerving I stayed awake to calm down. No one could have called my name. Is this psychosis? I see T and pdoc Friday.

I think a lot of people experience that. I have but I wasn't in an episode or psychotic at the time. Maybe just mention it to t and see what he says? Personally I didn't worry about it.

That may just be because you were in a dream state. I've had similar experiences when I wasn't psychotic or manic or depressed. I just wrote it off.

That's an unnerving experience. It has happened to me - I've also experienced a VERY loud noise in that half-awake state. (The noise wasn't 'real'.) Are you familiar with this (ignore the horrid name, it's a very real and upsetting syndrome): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exploding_head_syndrome

It could have been a dream. I would mention it, as well.

It's probably something called hypnagogic hallucinations. It's not really psychosis, more like half awake/half dreaming.

I agree with some of the above posters - I've had similar experiences - but been half awake half asleep half dreaming ... if you weren't fully awake at the time of hearing this, I am not sure it would be psychosis.

I agree with the other posters. Sounds like it could have been in a dream state. Best of luck!
