Why does sleep have to be so hard ,, getting more hours now but sleepier during the day ... I really feel that is the last puzzle piece for me ...

Yeah sleep is something that will change and can impact us as we move between poles.

It is so hard for me to sleep. For me to find peace of mind the rest. It is so difficult being bipolar because the mind is always going, never stopping. This is the last puzzle piece for me. Finding my way to dreamland so I can finally rest, just rest.....

i wake up several times a night. its frusterating and leaves me tired all day long. i dont know what Id do without coffee. i want to get knocked out and have a deep sleep. last time I had decent sleep, ironically was when I was manic. i miss feeling enery as I rise from bed..

I am averaging 12-14 hour sleep periods now (when I am not out and around being half asleep for class and such), up from 4-6 or so in my better periods.

I know exactly what you mean :/

Back to constantly exhausted for now, hoping for it to transition with my meds being upped, but it's not helping me with anything right now besides helping my depression win....and making friends with my benzos when my mind can't find its off switch.
