Hi! I have been stable for quite a while and now something related to separation anxiety has triggered and episode. My diagnosis has been bipolar mixed, and now I'm having days that in mornings I'm energetic and rather light/medium manic, and as the day proceeds I'm getting more and more depressed to the deepest point. Can anyone relate? Any solutions?

I don't have evening depression but I have evening irritation. I'm diagnosed BP2 at the moment but I have a lot of mixed moods pretty regularly. It's pretty exhausting.

I've heard that light therapy can help with depression. Is this just starting up? I've been noticing it is getting darker earlier with fall coming. Maybe you need more sunlight? (Unless this happens in the summer, too.) I know that the seasonal shifts are always harder for me. That might be part of it, too.

Well, yes, this deep it's coming up only recently. I did not have this last year and year before I was rather high manic at this season. Unfortunatelly I have no light therapy available here, as far as I know. I'm thinking of supplementing with vit D..

The winter is a very hard time for me. the short days trigger my depression.
My girlfriend swears that I cycle within the same day. I think she is right.
