Ok, not exactly motivational but a quote I wanted to paint on our front door when I was recently manic. My husband vetoed that, but I do have it framed on the wall and it always makes me smile.

"But I don’t want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.

Think it might have made door knockers think twice if I had painted it on the door!

I'm not a Buddhist but most of my favourites are from Buddha, such as
"No one saves us but ourselves, no one can and no one may, we ourselves must walk the path" and
"Peace comes from within, do not seek it without"
Then the whole book of The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran, basically a bunch of poetries that explain the philosophy of life. Lastly, my personal favourite is
"Keep moving forward" -Walt Disney
from the movie Meet the Robinsons, it keeps my inside child-like spirit burns

I'm not quite sure its motivational, but John Lennon in the song Beautiful Boy "life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans". It reflects life so accurately.
