Regular pdoc appointment to yet again discuss what new med to rx me that isnt likely to work. He wants me to add Latuda to my c0cktail but im very hesitant after reading up on it, seeing tv commercial and chatting with a cpl ppl here that take it. Im refusing. He wont be happy. There has to be something else. Im just so so so sensitive to meds. Though I do feel ok as I am I dont feel "happy enough" to his liking. Grrrr. He made me do mood charting from last appointment to now. So will see just how happy or unhappy he is with my charting. Im procrastinating I really should be showering and getting ready.

It's going to be okay. Just because it made somebody else break out in blue green purple dots (jk) doesn't mean it's going to do the same to you hun. Everyone reacts differently to different kinds of meds. The worst you can do is not try. One pill, then you'll know because AP takes effect right away.

I've read stories where according to them swear it's a miracle drug and they don't feel it. Me, not so. But, my meds are my perfect.

Well, good luck sweety and remember, the pdoc works for you. You have the power to fire them if they intimidates you!

I want one that works with me, not against me.

Soooooo. Im trying the Latuda and hes given me Trintellex as well as we both agree Bupropion is no longer effective and there is no possibility of increase as im maxed for that med. Will see how it goes. Unfortunately I cant fire my pdoc thats not how it works. If I did it could be years before I got another as our healthcare system is free. So you get what youre given. Luckily I like my pdoc. We get along fine. He does listen to me and he can reason with me when needed.

I live in Alberta and can change pdocs whenever I want. It takes about 1-2 months to see a new one here.

Glad your pdoc appt. went well. I hope the new meds work for you, with little to no side effects.

I just added Latuda to my meds, and I like it very much. It has reduced the anxiety and obsessive thoughts that I was having. No side effects as far as I can tell. Good luck to you.

That's great! I'm having a hard time down here finding a good one....there's a lot of pill pushers that could care less.

Buproprian is Welbutrin which is an antidepressant. Buproprian threw me in a hypomanic state for 2 years when they thought all I had was depression. I finally got on a stabilizer to settle me down.

I hope it serves you well
