Do any of you work a second job? I am still paying debt that I accrued while manic and have been thinking about a second job to catch up and be able to breathe financially. Part of me is fine with my current schedule and doing nothing, the other part knows I need more money sooner easier it would be.

that is tough. I guess you need to weigh the risks and benefits. Because on one hand you would be changing routine and adding stress and it may end up triggering you. On the other hand more money would take away that stress. So it is kind of an internal decision for you. Which gives you more peace?

Plus. nothing is in stone. You could always try and then quit.
Thanks for this!

Finance is a HUGE trigger for me too. I also have been contemplating getting a second job just so I can make a dent in the mess I have made over the last year during a couple of really severe hypos.

The thing for me is.....my routine is very important to my self-care. Also, beside BP, I have some physical illnesses......and the bottom line is, it's about all I can do to hold down one job. I really don't think I can manage a second part-time job.

I totally understand the need to improve your finances and the stress it can cause. Just please weigh all of the consequences that would result before you take on that second job.

Their are many pros and cons but I believe ultimately I desperately need another source of income. I'm aware if it's an overnight job that I'm interviewing for tomorrow will throw my routine into a flux. But that's the challenge I guess. Is to adapt. I hope it will not be a trigger and I know sleep is going to be thrown off. Anyone have and advice and shift sleep?
