Just curious onto what the worst things happened when you guys were manic...

I've been in rage while driving, had around 20 partners sexually within a 2 month span, opened lines of credit, credit cards, spent like crazy, abused my xanax like crazy, and I got 3 tattoos!

The only thing I'm proud that I did are my tattoos
Here they are:

The first one I got is the first picture attached... I got it while on an obsession and manic.
It means (L)ife is (>) greater than (^) ups and (V) downs
and the numbers are my mom's birthday (June, 21) because she always tells me, no matter what state or mood im in, that it's going to be okay.

The second photo, i got 4 days after my first with my best friend... I kept it from my parents until months later hahaha
It is my immediate family
First are my siblings in descending order (Frank, Melissa, Stefani, with me being the youngest) and then my parents (Thomas and Leanna)

The last picture is my favorite one so far
It is in Polish and means "I cannot live without you" with a serotonin molecule next to it... because no serotonin... is literally depression

I had a 6 month manic spell this year. 20+ sexual partners, rage, severe spending and I got a full sleeve tattoo on my right arm (only ever had 2 small tattoos before). I had a psychotic episode in May which ended up with me in hospital and medicated. Like you, I love the tattoos I got, but I'm pretty ashamed of the rest of my behaviour.
Thanks for this!

I had a 10 month period of hypomania and full on mania. Spent 100,000, hyposexuality, risky behaviour, party lifestyle, the giant tattoos, etc.

dUDE I love your tattoos!

you picked some classy clever tattoos in your manic state

very impressive.

I almost got tattooed and belly button pierced during a mania. I am very fortunate to having had such raging anxiety that it kind of always kept me in check even while manic. A btchy chaperone of sorts.

But I almost wish sometimes that I had gotten my tattoo when I was in that place.

I wanted a butterfly obviously. I am sure that comes as a big surprise to those who have gotten to know me.

Oh gosh where to start..

Tattoo in the center of my chest.

Went on a spiritual mission that included being homeless for a while.

Hundreds of dollars on lottery tickets in under two weeks.

Grew my own shrooms and ate the entire flush in one go.

Sex adventures with strangers.

Quit a job and moved to the other side of the country with no planning whatsoever.

Over a thousand dollars in clothes that I couldn't even wear in public.

Showing up to work drunk or stoned on a regular basis.

Going for a jog during a tornado warning for the thrill of it.

Shaved my head. Twice.

Etc.

It was actually one of the most amazing experiences of my life. It would be very difficult to put most of it into words, though. I can say that I discovered that "awe" is a real emotion, albeit quite rare, but it is real.
