So I got a phone call for a company that I use to work for in college. I had a good chat with the manager and she asked me many questions. One question was how do they know I won't leave in 6 months after they have invested in me again.

I like to lay it on real thick. I'm so excited about this opportunity, I see this as a long-term position and I hope to grow with your company for as long as I can, I have no plans to leave, there are so many opportunities to learn and grow and I want to take advantage of all of them, blah blah blah.

I'm sure I'll have this question coming up too because I have some gaps in my resume after battling illnesses the last 5 years.

Wow that actually sounds great thanks for the advice. Good luck on your interviews.
