Any Wayne Dyer fans out there? I believe some of what he said can apply to people with BP.

He was big on the energy of the universe. He said a lot of what we feel about ourselves in life is sort of absorbed energy, negative and positive. I have a lot of anger issues - anger at the world, my family, strangers, myself, my family, etc. I was always in *fight* mode.....still struggle with it. It leads to paranoia and all sorts of other issues. Then I went to get some psych help. Along the way, I started reading Wayne Dyer here and there. He was a fascinating guy. It's deep stuff but a lot of it makes sense.

He basically believes that if we're offended, hurt, or injured by someone else's words or feelings, we need to be able to reflect it all away and move on because we just create more negative energy and we let it bring us down even further. It's tough to do but it can work for us because I believe it brings us some level of inner peace.

"That which offends you only weakens you. Being offended creates the same destructive energy that offended you in the first place.............transcend your ego and stay in peace." - Wayne Dyer

Nice insight. Non reaction is another way to say that - helps me stay cool in the midst of the storm.
