I have a history of mild auditory, olfactory and visual hallucinations. Lately I have had a few experiences where some of my hallucinations were affected by suggestion. For example, I was hearing sounds like voices talking on a radio. I could hear the voices distinctly but not make out the words they were saying. Then I was asked a psych screening question of whether the voices were ever of anybody I knew; I said no. The next day I woke up and the only voices I heard were my mom's and my sisters', on and off about five times that day. Since then I've just heard the usual music etc. Then last night I was outside smoking. I heard a noise in the leaves that I thought might be a spider. I couldn't see anything. Then, when I went inside, I briefly saw a big black spider skittering across the room.

Has anyone else ever had anything like this, where an idea got put into your head and then came out soon after as a hallucination? I tried researching it online and I can't find anything.

It wouldn't surprise me. All hallucinations ultimately originate from our own minds, so it makes sense to me that material introduced to our minds could wind up in a hallucination.
