Yes, yes, yes. I know, being manic isn't a good thing. I'm well aware of that. I just want to know what the most productive thing you've ever done during hypomania/mania.

I learnt to play the cello quite well in half a year, and I learnt Spanish.

What's something cool you'd like to actually thank bipolar for? I know it's a disease, and a terrible one. But sometimes it's so important to see the good in life. You know?

I'm hypomanic right now and I'm learning French with this tutor I met online, she actually lives a tube ride away. Awesome, isn't it? Anyway, I'm learning drench so I can better communicate with my boyfriend, he's French and his English is terrible. My French is terrible and he lives in Russia, and I don't exactly have time to learn from him. Anyway I'm blabbing now which is what j tend took when I'm feeling like this. Oh I must remember to apologise to my narcissistic mother for not letting her have my soap. Usually I entertain her bull but I was so rude. So mean today. God I hate it when I do that. Where was I? Oh yeah. Tell me your stories guys !!! Have a lovely Sunday/Monday <3

I thank bipolar for a whirl wind of outdoor adventure, and I mean some pretty extreme stuff.
Thanks for this!

Wrote a 8 page academic assignment. That experience showed me how passionate I can be.

My hypomania is mainly what allowed me to get through college while working and being a single mom. Lots of late night school work.

All of my biggest art projects get done during hypomania! I don't know the concept of a decent break, once I get started. Sometimes that includes studying foreign languages too.

I started my own business while hypomanic. I was able to keep it going for 3 1/2 years, and I loved every minute of it. The long-term consequences weren't so good, but I have no regrets.

I wrote a book in only a few weeks. It's still in a storage box, unpublished. I've also started businesses that never quite got off the ground as I lost interest when the mania mellowed out. Lol

I wrote a [non-fiction] book in 4 days. I wrote the second draft in the next three days and the third draft the next two days after that. In the days after that I stared on another book, but only got about half way through that book before I crashed.

I tend to write a lot when manic. I get really creative. But it is rare that I finish any projects due to bouncing around from project to project.

Once I laid out plans to make a documentary, but due to budget constraints I was planning to ride a bike from location to location (essentially cross-country) in order to get it made... needless to say, it never got past the planning stage.

I do a lot of home projects.
Go through my closet and give half my clothes away.
Order all new interior lighting for $12,000.
Have my front porch ripped off and garden dug up.

Reno'd two bathrooms in four days.
I was exhausted, but it seemed like a good idea at the time
