About my children- I love to sing. I am singing that adele song That the rest of America is singing and my older teen gets pissed at me.
To him I say- "blank you. I am allowed to be happy, sing and dance, It doesn't mean I am crazy or manic. I am in a singing mood." Jesus. Sometimes I wish they would just leave me alone. Just go away and ignore me. |

I used to love singing in the shower but I stopped when I moved in with my ex so I wouldn't freak him out. Now I get it out of my system when I'm alone in the car.
Don't forget that they are still children. They aren't mature yet. Do you actually say "&@*% you" or is that just part of your rant? |

That is part of my rant!!!!
It is what I am thinking! No, what I said was, "Ultimately, this is my house. I know it scares you to think I may be manic. I am not manic or crazy. I am singing because I saw the SNL skit about Adele when you sing Hello rather than argue. I can sing anytime I want. I am sorry if it upsets you." My oldest is 18.He gets bossy. lol The point it, that I appreciate my children's input about my cycling. However, I am also their mother and have learned to become self-aware about my moods. I have been in intensive therapy since my Bipolar diagnosis and am on meds and currently am stable. So let me be happy once in a while and sing! |
