As some of you may of already read, I start a new job tomorrow and I'm not ready at all. For one, I've been flipping out and having mood swings for over a wk now. I called the nurse and the best they could do was get me in to see a fill in pdoc. She was very hesitant to touch my dosages and called the front desk to see when I could see my regular pdoc. Not till January! I told her how important it was that we do something because I start a new job tomorrow and I'm so stressed its causing mixed episodes. I wanted to drop risperdal since it pooped out on me long ago. She refused. Finally I got her to increase my stabilizer which she expressed that she doesn't even like to prescribe. I guess she has issues with trileptal. Should a increase in my stabilizer be enough to level me out? I'm so worried. I seem to attract the *****y girls at work and I'm to the point where I'm easily triggered right now. I can't handle work drama right now. I'm just going to kill them with kindness and hope for the best!

Dx: BP2, PTSD, bulimia/anorexia
Seroquel 150mgs
Risperdal 4mg
Trileptal 600mgs
Buspar 45mgs
Ativan 1mg PRN
Vyvance 70mgs PRN

Increasing your trileptal could give you all kinds of help with stability; give it a chance. January isn't that far away. Don't give up on your Risperdal only because your body is used to it right now.

I wish you the absolute best of luck with your new job.
Thanks for this!

Yep January 5th. I'm thinking of switching risperdal to Abilify because it helps with mixed episodes. I wish I could of done it today but she said I shouldn't be changing/increasing two meds at once. I know my pdoc would have though

Surprisingly I had a good day for my first day! Didn't feel *****y or irritated at all. Needed tons off coffee before to combat the seroquel but I did good. The Dr had me training as his personal assistant today. I hope he keeps me doing this because I did great! Now just hoping there's no mood swings throughout the week!
