I get paranoid every 8 days or so. It lasts for either a couple minutes to an hour. I usually get suspicious of people. Get paranoid about cars driving around. Or if people are around I get scared. So I went to my psychiatrist tonight and I told her that my paranoia isn't going away and she told me to journal. I thought medicine would help me. She said something about taking seroquil but it makes you gain weight and it makes you groggy. I take 120 mg of Latuda and 4 mgs of risperdal. I feel all hopeless now. I had suicidal thoughts. I just wish my paranoia would go away. I was planning to go back to school and work at the end of January but I don't think I should. I don't know how I'll be able to handle paranoia when I have schoolwork and work to deal with. Maybe you guys can help me feel better.

Sounds like the latuda is not doing its job. The pdoc should not have just suggested journaling. While journaling is soothing, I think you need a med adjustmemt.

I'm going to a new pdoc on January 29th. The long *** wait. I hate it. I want quick results. I go back to school on January 25th, I don't know if I can handle it.

I can relate to how much the wait sucks. I need a med adjustmemt myself, and my appointment is not until january 19th. I have to go back to school too, and without the right med cocktail, i can do it but ot is soooo much harder. I work hard at school already without trying to ride the bike uphill.
