Merry Christmas everyone! Hope your day is full of joy.

What's everyone's plans for today?

I'm going to my husband's aunts for dinner. We're not opening presents till his dad gets here at 8:30 PM.

What does everyone hope to get?

Merry Christmas to you!

We have to have 2 Christmases b/c my brother can't be with my sister's kids. (And last night we had Christmas dinner #1 with my mom's significant other and they opened their gifts). Today we may watch my nieces open gifts on Skype then we'll open gifts here and have lunch, then we go to my sister's for gifts and dinner there.

I have bronchitis so I'm going to be doing a lot of PUrelling and feeling groggy from cough syrup while very, very agitated from asthma meds. But that won't ruin the day. I'll just be tired at the end and maybe that will help overcome tonight's asthma treatments.

Merry Christmas!

My mom, little brother, and older brother and his family are coming to my house for a Christmas brunch around noon. Then we'll be off to my dad's house later in the day.

Just got done watching my son open his presents. I think he's a happy dude.

Sounds like good days for you two.

I'm starting to have a bit of anxiety over the presents I made for everyone. Like what if they don't like them. lol. In the past i just got everyone soap or candles, this is my first year with making everything. Not super worried about most of them, just my father in laws gift. I painted a picture for him of his dog, and I'm always critical of my painting abilities. Oh well, not much I can do about it.

I understand. I sewed patchwork tablecloths for my mom and sister. My mom knows about my sister's but hers will be a complete surprise. Those will get good reception I think. Then I made baby doll blankets for my nieces, one bigger and one really small for their 6 in. American Girl dolls their great-grandma gave them. I always get anxious with gifts like that because kids are unpredictable and it's hard to put in a lot of time doing something and have them reject it and never touch it again (ie the sparkly hot pink superhero cape I spent many hours making without a pattern or instructions 2 years ago and which has never been worn for play yet b/c the recipient felt it choked her (which was possible with the design I guess).

But it will all be good. I'm just anxious to have them open things and hopefully not immediately notice my errors, especially on the tablecloths.

I also am really hoping I'm not too tired to handle this. I was up until about 3 when in desperation I bit a 10 mg hydroxyzine (they are teeny and wouldn't cut well in the splitter) in half (tastes terrible) and then I got up at 7:15 and once I did the breathing treatment I needed then I was awake for the day. I have a bad headache (I think my sinuses are getting involved in my bronchitis) so hopefully getting up wasn't a bad mistake. I guess at worst I nap at my sister's for a while.

I also have to explain to my nieces that there was one gift they knew I planned to make but I ran out of time and with my rapidly upcoming med change/hospitalization it will be a while before I get them done probably.

Oh well.

Enjoy your day!

Merry Christmas, all!

We are having Christmas at our house again. My mom is going to cook a turkey, my grandma a ham. I'm not really a fan of ham or turkey (you know, fresh off the carcass turkey) so I think I'll just make a turkey sandwich.

What I'm really looking forward to though is seeing my niece and nephews open the presents I got for them.

We're going to my parents around noon. My husband isn't running a temp anymore. Yea! I'm really anxious. This is one of those moments when I wish I still had a benzo prn!

Christmas #2 is done. I am very excited because my whole life I have wanted an opal ring because my grandma had one I loved and I got one today. I'd asked for it for my 40th birthday coming up but I think I got it now since my 40th is probably going to be pretty miserable IP. What a nice Christmas and I completely surprised my mom with a handmade patchwork tablecloth.

Off soon for Christmas #3!

I know what I am doing for Christmas. December 25 is Party Time at PC, 3pm-5PM EST!

This is not your ordinary party. We will have emoticon, cake, drinks, and pizza. What more could you ask for. BYOF - bring your own food unless you like emoticons. They are kind of dry to me! LOL

So whatever you are not planning to do, how about penciling in the party at Psych Central on December 25th at 3PM - 5PM EST? Private message me for more info. Look for the room marked Christmas party in the Chatroom.

Hope to see you there at the party in the chat room.

We celebrated Christmas here yesterday. Today my daughter is at her boyfriend's old house celebrating Christmas there. My husband and I are enjoying the peace and quiet.

We'll have a small ham dinner here and probably keep puttering around until bed.

Merry Christmas!! My kids got up at 5:30 this morning and then got my wife and I up to open presents. They were so excited about what they got. They started playing at 6 AM and are still playing at 5:07 PM. Fun times being a kid!
