Most people gain weight on lithium. I gained about twenty pounds in three months.

I gained much more weight on lithium than epilim. I started lithium and immeidately gainedI think 40 lbs (too long ago to remember) and was in a clinical trial while I started depakote which I only gained 8 lbs on in 6 months.
Have you tried lamogitrine? It's more weight neutral than most drugs.
