Anyone else get so anxious that it spills into nervous laughter; do you get so anxious that you laugh uncontrollably and people think you are nuts? My thoughts are bizzare and just thinking them makes me hysterical.

I can't say I've experienced this. It must make it very difficult for you. When I'm nervous I can barely laugh at all.

My daughter's been there. She says she smokes pot to relax herself past it. I can't judge for that... it looks painful.

I've had it happen before. It's pretty unsettling

I get that when I am very very tired. Everything is funny. One of my Profs had fun one class by picking up his stapler and waving it at me saying "Look it's a stapler" and for whatever reason, I found this super funny

Once when I was under intense stress I would laugh at inappropriate moments and cry over nothing. It was scary as i felt like I was losing my mind. At the time I had no idea I had bipolar or PTSD which only made it more confusing. I lost friends over it. I didnt have a pdoc at the time so had no idea what was going on.

Are you under a lot of stress right now? I would suggest you remove as much stress as possible and call your pdoc to get his/her advice. This is not your fault. You are simply unwell. Take care.
