I feel pretty awesome today. I was irritable earlier, but now I feel content, and even hopeful. It's been over two weeks since I started the meds, and four days since my latest increase. Is it possible that the Lithium and Zyprexa are working, or is it too soon? I want it to work so bad, I feel like I'm creating somewhat of a placebo effect. My mood has improved, except for the irritability. Even that hasn't been as bad as it usually is. The only thing that I'm still plagued by are the paranoid thoughts, but they're only at night. I hope this is the beginning of my stability

I've had that feeling. It's like "Great I'm feeling good! Am I really? Do these meds actually work, or will I feel bad tomorrow?" Enjoy the feeling! The meds do work and that's why your mood has changed. I'm so happy you're feeling better! It's a great feeling!

I hope it lasts but even if it doesn't enjoy today! Don't worry about the future too much if you can help it.

Lithium worked that fast for me! I LOVED it! I had to go off of it because it was ruining my thyroid (but I have Hashimoto's thyroid disease, so that was always a possibility). I'm so excited for you. If you can physically take it...keep at it!

Thank you everyone! I feel so good, I'm trying to enjoy it and not be so apprehensive. I played with my kids today and was able to actually enjoy them without my mind going everywhere else. It's a good feeling. My husband even noticed.
