I met him ip. They told me he was one of the best Bipolar Pdocs in Orange Co.

While I was in therapy for the first time at age 19, my pdoc only prescribed opioids and used to touch himself while I was talking.
Then after an hour,
Possible trigger:
I was not attracted to him. I let him but not really willingly.
This went on for 7 years. Even longer. He stalked me. Found out where my office was years later and showed up.
Possible trigger:
Really bothered me.
But when I was real sick I'd call him and he'd come to where I was living. I got really strung out on opioids.
Now if I tell a pdoc, they don't encourage me to go into it. Just say, that won't happen here.

Well this was along time ago. The last time I saw him was 20 yrs ago. He still acted like a pervert, but gave me a script for opioids.
He's probably dead by now. He was really old when I was 19.

No such luck. Looked him up on Internet and he's currently specializing in child psychiatry.
Unless he's reformed, big trouble for those kids.
I feel like making an appointment and telling him how he screwed me up in more ways than one.

I'm so sorry you went through that. I've been victimized in treatment centers, but not by staff.
He's a child psychiatrist??? You really, really need to report him.

I'm so sorry. I had a treatment counselor come in my room late at night like 3 times trying to have sex with me. When I went out patient like 3 girls were bragging how they had slept with him. This was a long time ago.

I think you need to report him and try and get therapy for this.

Definetly repot him who knows how many others might come forward if an investigation is opened. Especially since he is working with children! It might open some bad places for you but the damage is already done look at all those you could be helping. I have sexual abuse in my past and wish every day the man could have paid but when I told no one would listen. When I was old enough he had passed away. I wonder how many others he hurt. Definitely do something don't wait!

It's a few hours later and what you posted is still giving me a rage stroke. He deserves to have everything taken away from him, professionally, personally, everything. It makes me sick. People like that are sociopathic predators and they will keep on doing what they do until they get caught.

So is this a common or uncommon thing? Do you think they ever just play with your emotions? Is the abuse from the bad psychologists always easy to spot? How can you tell? Should I ask these questions in a new thread as ocean swimmer you got me thinking cause my time is getting short I gotta give in soon.

The only experience I've had with a psychologist was in the military. ( just started meds scared to see psyc doc because I don't like people playing with my emotions, trust issue) We were deployed to Katrina I was his driver he was a major in civilian affairs, psychologist in his civilian job, he used some of his psycho bs and put us (my partner who later refused to drive for him so I was stuck) in some really dangerous situations that's were completely unwarranted. Or stupid things like walk in a room and hand him unnecessary paperwork during a meeting with the CO's (officers) of course the conversations he would try to open up were completely unacceptable. As a soldier your not supposed to feel fear but those moments with that man who was armed (I was not) in a place where I knew my word wouldn't be believed was very scary. The man actually gave me an award for my service really? Though its on my record I had my section sergeant throw it away and refused to be presented with it. What a dirty bag.

So I know there's good and bad just wondering how common the really bad might be?

Note: I worked with a lot of great men in the military and I worked hard to earn and keep respect from all of them as its not easy being female at times. This person was the only male I encountered that was less than respectable. It was shell shock for me!

I had a really, really weird psych nurse once. He was doing all kinds of sketchy things. It was all on the Washington state health dept services website. I don't want to go into it. But he was brought up on changes and was able to keep his license with rules attached. He was Mormon and had strings so he was able to afford a good attorney. His wife was just as creepy....

But I haven't met any other creepy psych professionals.

I 100% agree. I can't believe a professional who is supposedly trained in treating mental illness and helping patients would do something so disgusting and scarring! I had never heard of this happening to anyone before now.

The fact that he's working with kids now really scares me. And what he did to you is big time sick. He kept you close with drugs. Non psych meds at that. If I were you I would report him! Maybe it will help you move on in a way too. What a sick pig I can't get over this!

Trileptal 600mg BID
Buspar 45mg
Seroquel 150-300mg for sleep
Ativan 1mg PRN
Vyvanse 70mg
Risperdal 4-6mg PRN

I don't get msgs unless the other person using tapatalk app!
Thanks for this!

Since I posted this the moderators have put in triggers and taken lots of details out.
But they know best. I posted this not to get anyone feeling manic, but to open a dialog.
You're right the other pdocs don't want to hear that you were molested and druged.
Probably the same thing with those who were abused by Catholic priests.
So if my own new pdoc doesn't want to hear it, how will I get the confidence to Report hi
To Others in authority?

Thanks Pastel Kitten it's like the Priest scandal. But the bigger problem with pdocs is they know a lot about manipulation. They're trained to get into your psyche.
I've felt responsible over the years, because I watched him.
And when the first hour was over, there was always a second hour of abuse. And then I felt guilty that I filled the prescription for opioids that he said were to help my bipolar. No other meds were ever given.
I need to learn not to blame myself. He was creepy then, with bad teeth and really emaciated. I can't imagine how horrid he must look now. But I know it's him. I knew where he was from before CA. And I knew what University he attended. It's him.
How am I going to get the courage? I know you guys all say Report Him.
But if I'm going on this journey, I will make a goal to win and see it through. Not just wishy washy. That's not my style.
I've told my husband. He doesn't think it's that big a deal. I told him it's equal to rape every month for 7 years. He doesn't get it. That doesn't help my courage.
I'm screwed.

Just to settle anyone who's worried.
I researched him more & found out his medical license has been canceled within the last 5 years.
