I am extremely irritable today. I just want to knock down anyone that gets in my way. What are some things you guys do to calm down?

Jogging, swimming or walking. Or maybe other sport will work for you.

How about one of the following: Deep breathing exercises; self hypnosis; guided imagery; mindfulness exercises.

I stay away from people, stay off the roads if possible. Sometimes take a Benadryl. I also put a drop of lavender essential oil in a Kleenex and breath in deeply.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I tried calling my pdoc. I told his office that I was in an episode and they said he would call me back within the hour. That was six hours ago. I'm calm now thanks to my husband taking the kids and letting me have my moment. I'm really getting frustrated with my pdoc though because he is NEVER there when I need him. Same with my therapist. What's the point of having a team when they aren't there when I need them.
