A friend was telling me he got herbs from a aChinese Doctor and after 5 weeks it made his blood pressure go back down to regular.
He isn't mixing the herbs with Western Medicine.

So I was thinking about at least going to this Dr and showing him the drugs I'm on to see what he says.

Has anyone tried herbs? I know the drugs I'm on are causing high blood pressure and harming my kidneys and liver. Plus I'm still depressed.

I don't know for sure - tell both docs what you're taking. I hear great things about Accupuncture, but I have not tried yet. And myofascial muscular memory massage is amazing and intense for emotional healing. Wow I've had profound success with that type of massage!

Thanks. I'm trying to keep an open mind and learn new treatments.

I'm pretty sure holistic doctors don't need to have an actual medical certification so he/she may not be much of an authority on the prescriptions you currently have.

I wouldn't expect TCM as an effective treatment for any MH issues. They don't claim to be. Acupuncture is great for pain and to complement other treatments, I use it for TMJ, but I would never sub any herbs or anything for western medicine.

Yes. You're right. The only claim is for depression. This guy is a Surgeon from China and moved to the states and has been in practice for 20 yrs.
he has an Acupuncture Clinic.
