I went to a new therapist last night and after hearing me out, my story, she suggested that visiting an Amen Clinic in Atlanta for a Spect Scan as something worth consideration for me. I'm just hoping to have some first hand feedback from someone who's had it done.

My comment , if anything, will bump your thread to the top, since I haven't had one.

I'm just curious about this T doc suggestion. What is the purpose of doing it.
Is the T going to work based on the results?.
It's a very expensive procedure probably not covered by insurance, unless a doctor
prescribes it.
I'm not sure I want to know how my brain is unless, I can take medication or do something to improve it and have the ability to check my progress.

My pdoc couldn't get it covered under insurence but I think he was going after a fMRI. When we save enough we will be doing this to our son.
