It feels like I'm not breathing, my legs are shaking as well as my hands. So H put his foot down and said no more tamiflu. It's known to start episodes and cause psychosis. I'm already fuming-ly angry and If I get much worse I'll be putting everyone in danger. H is talking about me being IP again. We're trying to avoid it, this doesn't seem like an episode but I've thought of taking my PRN to calm down. I'm still sleeping, eating, drinking normal. My skin feels tight and hot. I want to do things despite having the flu. My thoughts aren't everywhere, I'm so confused though. I'm isolating to protect everyone. Is this a weird episode? If it is this is mild. When do I know to take my PRN? Oh the lovely bugs are back too.

I got a little manic from cold meds before. They amped me up. Is there anything you can get from your doctor that is safe for bipolar.

The urgent care dr said this was safe but she was wrong when I came home and looked it up.

Take your PRN's . If you dont get better you need be seen by a medical Doctor. Meanwhile try the hot showers.

Those tamiflu zinc things set me off too. They just make my head feel really weird, like dizzy but not dizzy.

Just got home took my PRN. God I needed it. I hope it kicks in before my rage gets to much. I want to ..... but I won't because The hospital is not a fun place and explaining that one will get me strange looks, I'm so mad though.

So how does IP work when you have the flu? I think I'll try to hold off until I see T Thursday but even after hurting myself It gave me no relief. grr....

I can't do ip ! I don't know what to say to my family. I have to get though this without ip.

Call your pdoc or go to the ER and let them know what is going on.

I don't want ip. I Want to be sick in my own bed. Especially because it's that time of the month. I'm going to take my sleeping meds soon.

Oh lord it's your moon time too! That and having the flu could be a big part of this. You have compounding components going on. Rest and more rest. Stay hydrated - nurturing foods & drinks soup maybe? This is total hell but it's going to pass. You can and you will get through this.

If t says hospital then I'll go. I hate the idea of it. H saw that I was thinking about IP. He's not happy that I won't let him in. 4 hrs of sleep on prn and sleeping prn.

9 am and I already left a nasty message to my son's teacher. Got tons of things to do today. My house is a disaster from me being sick. I need to take my prn to take this anger/hatred away inside me. It didn't work last night but maybe today. I can only take 2 a day and I doubt that's going to touch anything. They're lucky it's just me and my dog today.

Might consider calling back and apologizing for the nasty message. Even if your concern/complaint is valid, you can try to express your concerns in a way that isn't mean. I know you are not well, but no one should be on the receiving end of your mental health issues.
Have you gotten in touch with your pdoc? Considering this seems to be a reaction to a medication, he probably needs to know what is going on. |

I have no phone until 4 pm-ish but I will call her tonight if my husband hasn't spoke to her first. Pdoc is only in his office until noon but I see T tomorrow and I think he's going to want me IP anyway for a quicker med change. Stupid IP, then my whole family will find out. Pdoc works in a clinic so he's not available just psych nurses. I can email T but I don't see the point. I need to know if I can up my dose of prn. I'm going to take my sleepy one today and see if that helps. I don't think it will I'm tarting to get paranoid again.

klonopin is supposed to last 8 hours i think, but you're only on 1/2 mg. i'd personally take another. but i think what you really need is something for mania like seroquel (?)
