Man. I wish I'd gone to the bank sooner. He got away with $1027.00.
All the while texting me. Acting like nothing was going on. Somehow he also got on my husbands acct.
So. I'm not going to take it personal. I emptied out both accts, so this rat can't steal any more money.

Sad. I have to write him off as a friend. Talk about karma. His live in girlfriend left him.

So I changed the electric bill to be a direct debit out of another of my CR bank acct.
This would be hard to take even for someone without bipolar. I'm already experiencing depression.
Boo hoo.

Hasn't this happened to anyone? Or too painful to talk about?

I'm very sorry. I've never dealt with something like that, but I do know what it feels like to get taken advantage of by someone you thought you could trust.

My ex stole my credit cards once and spent almost 2k on drugs, just to spite me for "disobeying" him.

I threw bricks at him in a fit of rage, sadness and disappointment.

Glad to be rid of him completely, but sad for my daughter though. He never even tried to be a good father to her in the few short years he had access to her.

Not quite the same scenario, I know.

We seem to have more drama than non bipolar people.

I wonder why. My dad once lost the entire payroll $25,000.00-- about $200,000 in today's money. At the greyhound dog track in Florida. He was an alcoholic, compulsive gambler and bipolar. I loaned him $1000.00 once. Only because he'd given me the money for my birthday. Always expensive jewelry.

I was on the board of a non-profit domestic abuse shelter. A women embezzled from the non-profit and ran off to Mexico. Because we were on the board together the IRS could have held the rest of us responsible for the missing money. Thankfully they investigated and decided we weren't culpable. That was scary. Because it was less than 100,000 they decided not to look for her but if she returns to the states she'll be arrested.
