I literally got 9 hours of sleep last night, then took a 4-hour nap. Latuda just knocks me out every time I take it!
I have a job that lets me work from home, but I haven't done any work today... until now. I wasted nearly 6 hours of my day! Fortunately, my pdoc started me on Lamictal yesterday and I will be weaning off the Latuda in a month's time, so hopefully I won't have to deal with the Latuda drowsiness for much longer. How do you prevent yourself from sleeping the day away? |

My question would be how can I get a hold of that Latuda thing!.
I take xanax, trazodone and will start remeron and still can't sleep. Good luck with the Lamictal. Never change brands. |

I heard Seroquel is even more sedating than Latuda. Some people use it to go to sleep. So if you want to knock yourself out... ![]() |

Haha right! I'm on seroquel for my insomnia and it's not even touching me anymore! I was thinking about geodon though. I've read that it helps sleep and really balances people out. But I've heard that Latuda can cause anxiety so I may not try that one. But I can really use a whole day to catch up my lack of sleep. And OP, don't feel SO bad about being lazy for one day. We need a load of rest sometimes to stay sane. Especially when I'm already not sleeping. Sometimes I just crash and end up relaxing, sleeping a day away. Just don't make it a habit. Talk to your pdoc about lowering the dose of Latuda soon because no one wants to be out of it every single day. As far as waking up, I drink about 2-3 energy drinks a day. I wouldn't recommend that much tho. Sometimes BP people can be really sensitive to stimulants like caffeine. But i have a high tolerance to it now. I wake up with headaches every day so the caffeine helps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
