My pharmacy didn't call me and let me know but the Invega was approved! They have to order some so I won't be getting it until the latest Monday but I can finally try it and continue weaning off zyprexa.

I really hope it works for me without any major side effects. Yay!

Good luck! It's a great med (for me at least)

Well I'm on day 3 of Invega at 1.5 mgs. I'm down to 7.5 on the zyprexa. So half the dose I was taking of zyprexa. My appetite has for sure decreased so that's great yay! But I did keep waking up last night and had a hard time falling back asleep. But I'm hopeful. In a week and a half I increase the Invega another 1.5 mgs....wish me luck!

I love Invega. It's great at controlling the mania and I don't have any side effects. I hope it works for you! Glad it was approved!

Thank you! Yeah I'm not noticing any side effects so far. I'm just worried a little about coming off the zyprexa and sleeping. But I am increasing the trazadone as I do. I so hope it works! Thanks again.

That's awesome!!!

After my current experience with abilify shot I'm a big fan of the once monthly meds!!
