I don't know what's with my brain today. I'm trying to read people's posts so I can reply and provide support, but I cannot focus on more than a sentence or two. I was volunteering at my daughter's school and felt so scatter brained.

I'm sorry if I'm not engaging today.

Don't beat yourself up! Also, there is no obligation to reply to everything. Sometimes the hugs are just as satisfying and show that you care. Please take care of yourself.
Thanks for this!

Sometimes I feel the same way! I have days where I'm very scatterbrained and can't focus.

It happens to the best of us. Hope you feel better soon

It's taking way longer than necessary to get things done over here too. So you definitely are not alone!

I have days like that. I call it 'disjointed thinking' cause it works in stops and starts, with unfinished thoughts and struggle to find what I was thinking or just interrupted thoughts as if a flock of birds just went by and now my mind is with them. Your all not alone. My husband calls it the butterfly effect. When I don't finish something or start something new in the middle he says," look, there's a butterfly" (implying my attention was interrupted by a butterfly - something that happened years ago and stuck.

Do you think it's a side effect from your meds? Are you ADHD though? I got like this yesterday after I drank too many energy drinks. My eyes couldn't even focus on a paragraph. I actually got a little scared. Then I told myself "it's just too many energy drinks, your not dying!" Lol. Or are you still feeling a bit hypo? When I'm stable I can handle a lot of caffeine but when I'm still hypo then I can drink too much easily. It's not fun that I wake up with migraines every morn and the only thing that helps is caffeine. So in other words im pretty much dependant on caffeine Trying so hard

I think I was hypo, and tired, if that's not a contradiction.

Roaming Bird. I was trying to read "Bloomberg Gadfly", and though interresting I found myself skimming thru. Hard to hold my focus.
I'm interested in the economy and Stock Market, especially since my husband may retire soon.
Sometimes it's like you said. I'm not inspired to give feedback on a thread here on PC.

I've been having a lot of trouble focusing lately too. It sucks, wanting to do something but not being able to concentrate so I give up.
And then buying a bottle of Pepsi at the store yesterday, trying to listen to the cashier, paying attention to my kids in the stroller making noise and feeling anxiety that I'm holding up the line behind me while I ask for the cashier to change some money for me and my mind just stops when she asks me something and I just go ummm... For a minute. Yesterday was not a good day.
